- The workhorse turf and nursery pump — drawing from ponds, lakes, streams, cisterns and shallow wells, or boosting domestic pressure for irrigation. Cast iron body, mounting ring and diffuser, a machined and balanced brass impeller, stainless steel wear ring and a carbon-ceramic seal — where many competing turf pumps are plastic. Maximum suction lift 15 ft, though Munro recommend keeping total suction lift under 10 ft for best performance
