QCom irrigation products for nurseries and greenhouses
QCom is Micro Grow's larger commercial range — the QLink series of controllers covering irrigation, environment, boiler and fertilizer, plus the GEMLink software that ties them together and the QLink sensor family. Built for operations running several houses rather than one.
Windows graphical interface; site, zone, range and panel views
Best for
The head end the whole QLink range reports to. Summary screens for demand irrigation, on/off heating and cooling devices, vents and anticipatory hot water, so the status of every growing condition is on one sortable, printable list. Version 5 adds demand irrigation and fertilizer control plus user-selectable time windows for minimum pipe temperature — that last one is where the energy saving is. Archived data recalls as graphs or tables
RS-485 to GEMLink; analog channels conditioned at test for a specific probe type
Sizes
Item QL-WS-4000 · 6×6 enclosure, blank cover · 4 analog sensor inputs, 2 digital inputs
Best for
The outdoor half of a QLink system — wind, rain and light feeding the vent and shade logic so the house acts on weather rather than only on inside temperature
RS-485 to GEMLink; opens and closes vents and motors
Sizes
Item QL-SPC-4100 · 6×6 enclosure with four 5-position rotary switches on the cover
Best for
Drives vent and shade motors to a position rather than simply on or off. The rotary switches on the cover let a grower override a motor at the panel without going into the software
QL-SPC-4400 QLink Sensing Proportional Analog Commander
AC Controller
Connection
0–10 VDC or 4–20 mA outputs
Sizes
Item QL-SPC-4400 · 6×6 enclosure with four 0–100% dials on the cover
Best for
The analog version — for equipment that takes a 0–10 V or 4–20 mA signal, such as variable-speed drives, modulating valves and proportional heating, instead of open/close contacts
Item QL-SDC-4100 · 6×6 enclosure with 8 toggle switches on the cover
Best for
Eight on/off loads — fans, pumps, heaters, lights — each with a manual toggle on the cover so a device can be run by hand during a fault or a service visit
Item QL-BC-4100 · 6×6 enclosure with 8 toggle switches on the cover
Best for
Boiler and hot-water control tied into the same system as the vents, which is what makes GEMLink 5’s anticipatory hot-water and minimum-pipe-temperature windows work rather than fighting each other
Single RS-485 cable to GEMLink; each relay automatic via GEMLink or manually on
Sizes
Item QL-STC-4009 · small enclosure, clear cover · 8 valve output relays + a 9th pump-start relay
Best for
Eight irrigation valves with a ninth relay that starts the pump whenever any valve opens — so the pump interlock is built in rather than wired separately. One RS-485 cable back to the head end. Equally at home in a greenhouse or on outdoor nursery beds
Voltage or current input signals and output relay lockout pairing set by onboard DIP switches
Sizes
Item QL-HSDC-4800 · 8×6 window enclosure · 8 sensor inputs and 8 relay outputs on board
Best for
The all-in-one "8×8" board for on/off devices — eight inputs and eight relays in one unit, made to panel-mount straight inside a relay control cabinet rather than hang as a separate box. Relay lockout pairing stops opposed equipment running against itself
Voltage or current input signals selectable by onboard DIP switches
Sizes
Item QL-HSTC-4800 · 8×6 window enclosure · 8 sensor inputs and 8 relay outputs on board
Best for
The 8×8 board configured for irrigation valves — eight timed valve outputs with the sensor inputs on the same board, panel-mounted inside the control cabinet
Pairs with any QLink series unit; readings feed through to GEMLink
Sizes
SEN-50Y-HFA temperature/humidity in high-flow aspirated housing · SEN-T1A-HFA air temperature aspirated · SEN-T1S soil temperature in 1.5" stainless tube · SEN-T1W-W1/2 water temperature in ½" well · SEN-WS/WD Davis wind speed & direction · SEN-PL-A and SEN-SL-A PAR and solar light by Apogee · SEN-PL-L and SEN-SL-L PAR and solar light by LICOR · SEN-R2-ARD1 Hortimax precipitation · SEN-R3-TB Davis tipping bucket rain
Best for
Eleven sensors covering light, rain, wind and the temperatures that matter — air, water and soil. The aspirated housings on the temperature and humidity sensors are the important detail: a sensor sitting in still air reads the sensor, not the crop
We sell QCom equipment wholesale to production nurseries, greenhouse operations and horticulture education programs, from our warehouse in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, and ship to growers in all 50 states. Will-call pickup is available during business hours.
The QCom range published by the manufacturer is larger than what any distributor lists online. If the model, size or spacing you need is not on this page, send the part number or describe the job and we'll quote it. For a full system we would rather see your water source, pressure and crop first: tell us those and we'll help you spec it from the pump to the plant.
Need QCom pricing or a part that is not listed? Send the part number or describe the job and we'll quote it within one business day.
