Hunter irrigation products for nurseries and greenhouses
Hunter cover control valves and controllers, and through Senninger they carry the pressure regulator range most growers end up specifying — from the ½" MPR at half a gallon a minute up to the 2" PRU at 100 gpm. The PGV and ICV valves are available with DC latching solenoids as well as 24 VAC, so the same body works on a battery controller.
26.5–38.5 ft at 1.5 ft height · 31–43 ft at 3 ft height
Best for
Extremely uniform coverage over a large diameter at low pressure. Mounts on a riser adapter or 26" riser stake; colour-coded nozzles warranted to hold orifice size five years
Screws onto any Hunter control valve to hold the zone at its optimal pressure — saves water and extends the life of everything downstream. The adjustable model sets anywhere from 20 to 100 psi; the fixed models take the guesswork out. Glass-filled nylon construction. Works with both AC and DC latching solenoids
Preset outlet 15, 20, 30 or 40 psi; max inlet 45–80 psi rising with the preset
Sizes
1/2" male NPT inlet x 1/2" female NPT outlet
Best for
The smallest regulator in the line, for single heads and short runs. A greater hydraulic area than most flow-control devices lets it regulate over a wider flow range than its size suggests. Cuts wind drift and overwatering across changing elevations and long laterals, and steadies flow so every sprinkler throws its designed pattern. Models MPR152M2F through MPR402M2F. As with every Senninger regulator, inlet pressure must sit at least 5 psi above the preset outlet
0.5–8 gpm (114–1817 l/hr); 0.5–5 gpm on the 6 psi model
Pressure
Preset outlet 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 psi; max inlet 80–120 psi rising with the preset
Sizes
3/4" female NPT inlet x 3/4" female NPT outlet (3/4" hose also available)
Best for
The workhorse for solid-set, drip and other low-volume systems, and the widest preset choice at this flow — nine settings from 6 psi up. Models PRL063F3F through PRL403F3F
Preset outlet 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 or 50 psi; max inlet 80–130 psi rising with the preset
Sizes
3/4" female NPT inlet x 3/4" female NPT outlet
Best for
Patented design built for systems running surface water, where grit destroys ordinary regulators. Covers a much wider flow band than the PRL at the same 3/4" size. Models PSR2063F3F through PSR2503F3F
Filtration and pressure regulation in one body, so a zone needs one fitting instead of two. Combines PSR2 performance with reduced nozzle clogging — worth it where the water carries debris and the heads are small enough to block
2–20 gpm (454–4542 l/hr); 4–16 gpm on the 6 and 10 psi models
Pressure
Preset outlet 6, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50 or 60 psi; max inlet 80–140 psi rising with the preset
Sizes
3/4" female NPT inlet x 3/4" female NPT outlet with vane
Best for
Mid-range flows for solid-set, drip and low to medium volume systems — eleven presets, the widest choice in the line, and it reaches 60 psi. Models PMR06MF3F3FV through PMR60MF3F3FV
Preset outlet 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50 or 60 psi; max inlet 90–140 psi rising with the preset
Sizes
2" female NPT inlet x 2" female NPT outlet
Best for
The largest inline regulator Senninger makes — 100 gpm through a 2" body, for a whole block or a submain rather than a single zone. Models PRU108F8F through PRU608F8F
Preset outlet 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 psi; max inlet 125 psi on every model
Sizes
3/4" female NPT inlet x 3/4" female NPT outlet with vane
Best for
Regulates and limits — it holds the preset outlet pressure and caps flow, so a burst lateral or an open end does not drain the block. Flat 125 psi max inlet across all seven presets. Models PRLV10MF3F3FV through PRLV60MF3F3FV
Preset outlet 20, 30, 40 or 50 psi; max inlet 125 psi
Sizes
3" female slip inlet x 3" female slip outlet
Best for
The PRLV idea at submain scale — regulation plus flow limiting up to 75 gpm through a 3" slip body that solvent-welds straight into PVC. As a limit valve it caps downstream pressure at no more than 15 psi above the regulated setting under static (no-flow) conditions, so the line does not creep up to full inlet pressure when the zone shuts. Models PRXF20LV3FS3FS through PRXF50LV3FS3FS
Heavy-duty workhorse valve with a rugged supported diaphragm that resists stress failure and a double-beaded diaphragm seal for leak-free performance. Encapsulated 24 VAC solenoid with a captive plunger. Low-flow capability means it will run micro-irrigation zones, not just sprinkler zones. Optional DC latching solenoids for battery-powered controllers. Wide range of configurations, with or without flow control
Same valve as the PGV but with a glass-filled nylon threaded jar ring — service it without tools. The fastest option when valves get opened often for cleaning. Encapsulated 24 VAC solenoid; optional DC latching solenoid
Hunter’s commercial-grade valve for larger mainlines and higher flows, with captive bonnet bolts for hassle-free maintenance. Encapsulated 24 VAC solenoid; optional DC latching solenoid. Pairs with Accu-Sync for pressure regulation
A complete drip zone in one part — control valve, 150-mesh filter and regulator already put together and tested. Cuts the head assembly from a bench job to a single connection
The standard PGV ordered with a DC latching solenoid instead of the 24 VAC one, so it runs from a Hunter battery-powered controller. Rugged supported diaphragm with a double-beaded seal; low-flow capability means it will drive micro-irrigation zones, not just sprinklers. Pairs with Accu-Sync for pressure regulation
Hunter’s commercial valve ordered with a DC latching solenoid for battery-powered control on larger mainlines. Captive bonnet bolts for hassle-free maintenance
Up to 6 flow meter inputs and 6 pump / master valve outputs
Sizes
12 to 54 stations
Best for
Hunter’s top commercial controller, for a site big enough to need real flow management — multiple flow meters and multiple pump or master valve outputs on one controller. Also available as an ACC2 Decoder for two-wire
Conventional wiring, EZ Decoder two-wire, or hybrid conventional/two-wire
Best for
The practical middle of Hunter’s range and the one they name for nurseries. Expandable, and you can wire it conventionally, run EZ Decoder two-wire, or mix both on the same controller — useful when an old block is being extended
Any combination of conventional, EZDS two-wire and Wireless Valve Link outputs on one controller; built-in flow monitoring
Best for
The most flexible wiring of any Hunter controller — conventional stations, two-wire decoders and wireless valve links all at once. That means an old block, a new extension and an unreachable corner can share one controller instead of three. Built-in flow monitoring, and online control through Centralus
WAND module adds Hydrawise Wi-Fi to a dial controller
Best for
You do not have to choose between Wi-Fi and a dial. The X2 runs perfectly well from the face plate, and the WAND module adds Hydrawise later if the site wants app control — useful where a grower is not ready to put irrigation on the network
Converts a Pro-C, HPC or ICC2 to two-wire — one cable out to the field with decoders dropped where valves are needed, instead of a home run per station
Runs a valve with no wire to it at all — for a zone across a road or beyond an obstacle where trenching is not worth it. Works alongside conventional and two-wire on the ICC2
Mounts straight onto a valve solenoid — no screws, drills or extra wires
Best for
Waterproof battery controller for temporary irrigation and anywhere without power. It clips onto the valve itself, so a single remote zone can be automated without running anything back to a panel
Regulates to 25 or 40 psi; 150-mesh stainless steel screen
Connection
Preassembled with flush cap
Sizes
HFR-075-25 and HFR-075-40 (¾"), HFR-100-075-25 and HFR-100-075-40 (1" inlet x ¾" outlet)
Best for
Filter and regulator preassembled in one unit with a flush cap — one fitting instead of three at the head of a drip zone, and nothing to mis-assemble. Choose 25 or 40 psi at order
We sell Hunter equipment wholesale to production nurseries, greenhouse operations and horticulture education programs, from our warehouse in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, and ship to growers in all 50 states. Will-call pickup is available during business hours.
The Hunter range published by the manufacturer is larger than what any distributor lists online. If the model, size or spacing you need is not on this page, send the part number or describe the job and we'll quote it. For a full system we would rather see your water source, pressure and crop first: tell us those and we'll help you spec it from the pump to the plant.
